Bollywood Tours India (BTI) is a division of ‘Vikram Productions India’. BTI is the brainchild of none other than Mr. Vikram Makandar - pioneer in the film industry.Bollywood Tours India was incorporated over a decade ago with emphasis on giving Bollywood fans across the globe- an opportunity to see the magic that takes place behind the camera.


With a dedicated team and a vast pool of experience, BTI has been working with numerous companies, organizations and individuals to create the perfect experience.





Director Profile


Mr. Vikram Makandar has played stellar roles in more than 50 Bollywood films, and is best known as leading man in “Julie”, ‘Swami’, ‘Admi Sadak ka’ ‘Toofan’ and ‘Patita’. He has been nominated twice for the prestigious Film Fare awards

A graduate from Karnataka University, Mr. Vikram mastered his craft from the famous FTII (Film Television Institute of India) Pune. He produced a film named 'Situm' India’s first movie based on sports (football) with a hard hitting social message about Widow Remarriage. The cast included Naseeruddin Shah, Smita Patil and himself. The film won critical acclaim and found a prominent place in international festivals. The heart warming lyrics were by Gulzar and Jagjit Singh lent them his haunting melodies.

He was the Director (Marketing) at Eastman Color Kodak (Motion Pictures) from 1989-1991. His experimentation and innovative ideas won him a great deal of recognition and various accolades.

With a career that spans more than four decades, and experience that ranges from Event Management, entertainment and Film making, he has established himself as an actor, director, producer and entrepreneur in the Indian Film Industry

He is very socially committed and has led many endeavors in cancer therapy, eco-concerns and other noble causes. He has worked closely with a number of known figures including the late Mr. Sunil Dutt.
